Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley seeks a seasoned Retail Manager to lead store operations and drive revenue while maintaining excellent customer service and staff morale in our San Jose store.

You will supervise Supervisors and staff, manage daily cash handling, training, safety, and follow company policies to ensure consistent standards, accurate reporting, and a positive, inclusive work environment that aligns with Goodwill values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
• Ability to manage cash handling and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and maintain positive customer service and employee morale.
• Conduct weekly store management meetings and daily huddles.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly revenue and profit goals.
• Hire, coach/counsel, discipline, and evaluate Supervisors and staff.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, receipts, and inventory controls.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and safety/ housekeeping standards met.
