Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell and manage a retail operation.
• Ability to manage store shifts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and values.
• Lead in personal selling and meet or exceed sales per hour.
• Train all associate positions in the store (Cashier, Sales Associate, Key Carrier, Receiver, Stocker, etc.).
• Act as Manager on Duty and assist in day-to-day store management and supervision of associates.
• Open and close the store; address customer needs; handle returns.
• Increase sales, maintain profit, and reduce controllable expenses using key metrics.
• Lead training on sales techniques, product knowledge and company expectations.
• Promote a safe and secure store environment and report incidents promptly.
• Understand and execute all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in Loss Prevention measures.
• Lead and support team to deliver Best of the WEST customer service and drive sales.
• Keep the store clean, well-stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Control labor through scheduling and payroll processing.
• Handle and elevate customer or personnel issues with leadership support.
• Lead company initiatives with the store.
• Any other duties as assigned.
