Cavender’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Store Management Team in Texas. The role supports the store operations, participates in opening/closing, coaches associates, drives sales, labor, and customer experience while maintaining a clean, safe, and policy-compliant environment.

The position emphasizes active participation in sales, training, and leadership of store staff to achieve company initiatives and best of the WEST customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell product and meet sales goals in a retail setting.
• Ability to manage store shifts and staffing effectively.
• Strong customer service focus and problem solving skills.
• Ability to train and coach associates on sales techniques and policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s culture and drive store performance.
• Open/close the store and supervise associates to achieve goals.
• Lead training on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle customer issues and payroll compliance.
• Ensure store is clean, well-stocked and compliant with policies and safety standards.
• Lead loss prevention measures and execute company initiatives.
• Collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and customer experience.
