J.Crew Group (JCG) in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the store team, driving profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You’ll coach the sales team and collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies for success and provide smooth operational support.

You will also coach and develop the team, supervise store operations, and ensure world-class service. Flexibility is required to cover nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy in task execution.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development when needed.
• Collaborate to maintain a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connection.
• Engage with community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when required.
