Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests.

This role combines sales, merchandising, and store operations, working with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruit Teammates, and provide leadership. The AIT/Assistant Manager will share responsibility for training Teammates and may act as Store Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Experience in retail or supervisory roles preferred.
• Ability to recruit and train teammates and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in achieving sales and service goals.
• Lead by example with showmanship and excellent customer service.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; supervise operations and visual standards.
• Coordinate merchandising and housekeeping to ensure a clean, inviting store.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures and Loss Prevention guidelines.
