Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support an exceptional guest experience.

You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to train Teammates, recruit new talent, and lead during shifts across sales, merchandising, and store operations. This role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, sharing responsibilities with high-level duties while maintaining strong service standards and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or related retail experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions about store and merchandise.
• Assist guests in locating merchandise and suggesting additional items.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and share sales education with teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, payment/exchange policies, and security practices.
• Lead by example with showmanship and customer service; assist Store Manager in training Teammates.
• Recruiting, training and developing Teammates; balance leadership duties with sales responsibilities.
• Assist with visual merchandising, zone ownership, and maintaining store standards.
• Support store operations, scheduling, loss prevention, and guest relations.
• Participate in daily setup, training, and performance tracking; communicate effectively within leadership.
