Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) to support the Store Manager and Leadership Team in delivering the company’s mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. The role blends sales, merchandising and operations, with leadership duties and a progression path from AIT to Assistant Manager.

You will train Teammates, contribute to recruitment, and step in for the Store Manager as needed, helping drive goals and guest satisfaction across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or management preferred.
• Strong guest service and sales skills required.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate Teammates to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in driving sales and guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, and develop Teammates; lead in manager absence.
• Oversee store operations, merchandising and loss prevention.
• Coach team to deliver Buckle’s SPG and standards.
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership of store performance.
