Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to drive sales, guest service and daily store operations in a dynamic retail environment.

You will lead Teammates, train new staff, and step in for the Store Manager as needed while delivering an engaging shopping experience for guests. Responsibilities include coaching on product knowledge, executing merchandising plans, managing schedules, and promoting Buckle’s sales initiatives and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience preferred; capable of supervising and training Teammates.
• Experience in guest service and sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate Teammates.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and store operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Teammates to meet sales goals.
• Provide legendary guest service across the store.
• Coach in recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and zone ownership.
• Execute store operations including opening/closing, POS, and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on education focus and department calendars.
