Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is hiring for an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager. The role combines sales, merchandising and operational duties, working with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit Teammates and provide leadership.

This position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with additional high‑level duties as needed. Responsibilities include training Teammates, ensuring exceptional guest service, and executing store goals while maintaining Buckle's

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
Assist in training and leadership development of teammates.
Perform sales generation tasks including achieving personal sales goals and contributing to store targets.
Maintain store appearance through merchandising, inventory handling, and compliance with policies.
Support the Store Manager in recruiting, scheduling, and operations to ensure smooth store performance.
