BoxLunch in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to support the store leadership team and deliver the best customer experience. You will use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and assist the management team in daily operations and achieving sales targets.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of retail experience, strong communication and time management skills, and a commitment to community and philanthropy. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture.
• Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your peeps.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and customer service.
• Step in and provide leadership on the floor when the Store Manager is away.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process sales at the register and drive add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup; report shortages/overages to the Store Manager.
• Understand store sales plan, KPIs (UPT, ADT).
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Ensure store security by preventing misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
• Maintain a tidy stock room and store appearance.
• Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
