Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in New Orleans to support store operations, uphold policies, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, scheduling, and staff training to help meet store goals.

The role requires strong product knowledge, a passion for service, and the ability to act in the Store Manager's absence. This full-time position reports to the Store Manager and is based in New Orleans, LA.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environments, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Consult with Store Manager on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Step in for Store Manager in their absence and support overall store responsibilities.
• Lead in recruiting, training, and evaluating store staff.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
