Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store leadership, hire and develop associates, and maintain brand standards while ensuring a superior customer experience. You will help oversee daily operations, analyze performance, and execute plans with the Store Manager when needed.

This role requires strong communication, a history of retail sales or customer service, and the ability to lead a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience.
• Ability to lead or support a team.
• Effective communication with team and management.
• Scheduling availability to meet business needs.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Brand: supervise and direct associates to deliver an exceptional client experience and drive KPIs.
• People: recruit, train and develop team members; coach performance.
• Operations: execute company processes and support digital strategies including omni-channel.
• Inventory and payroll: manage payroll hours and store procedures.
• Safety/Loss Prevention: ensure safety, asset protection and compliance.
