Job summary

Sally Beauty seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a team of associates, and uphold brand standards in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

In this role you will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, analyze performance, schedule staff, and ensure compliance with company policies while developing talent and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet brand standards.
• Assist in achieving KPIs and financial targets through business analysis and planning.
• Support Store Manager in all areas and assume primary duties in their absence.
• Drive brand standards, omni-channel strategies, merchandising, and store policies.
• Hire, train, and coach employees; manage scheduling and performance.
• Oversee operations, inventory, payroll hours, opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and compliance with policies.
