Job summary

Luna Wireless, An Authorized T-Mobile Retailer (Central) in the United States is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team toward Mobile Associate success and a customer-centric store culture. Preferred bilingual Spanish speakers, though not required, and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in this role.

Compensation includes base pay with commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Available to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver great results.
• Outstanding communicator with ability to interact with teammates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for infusing every store’s Mobile Assistant with a passion for T-Mobile’s Manifesto by orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers.
• Ensure that customer needs are met and that employees build customer confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple, solving the whole problem.
• Complete observations of Mobile Associates’ interactions with customers, including feedback, for use in development, training and coaching conversations.
• Effectively manage customer wait time and stay current on products, services, and promotions.
• Lead by example, stay updated on products, services, training and leadership best practices to be an expert resource to the team.
• Assist in maintaining store environment quality and adhere to national plan-o-gram standards; use displays effectively and keep them current.
• Ensure team knowledge of store systems and corporate/store communications; deliver financial results and manage store expenses.
