Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a retail setting. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store staff, recruit top talent, and drive sales while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires management experience, a flexible schedule, and the ability to handle cash and POS operations. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience.
• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Willing to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week; hours not guaranteed.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized; strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally.
• Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including cash drawer and asset protection.
• Ensure asset protection via inventory control and secure loans.
• Administer store processes: inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Drive profitability through clear communication of goals and objectives.
• Maintain operating standards that meet FirstCash guidelines.
• Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Lead in absence of Store Manager and ensure smooth operations.
