Job summary

Victra is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a sales team in delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will drive sales, manage staffing and store operations, and mentor the team to achieve goals while upholding Victra standards.

You will own daily performance metrics, coach on the floor, and ensure smooth opening/closing procedures. This role requires a high-energy leader with strong communication and a track record in sales leadership.

Qualifications

• - Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• - 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• - Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• - Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• - Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• - Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• - Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• - High school diploma or GED.
• - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• - At least 18 years of age.
• - Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and hiring decisions to recruit top talent and develop the team.
• Train and mentor the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and manage flow and traffic.
• Identify selling-skill gaps and implement development plans to meet sales metrics and quotas.
• Own personal and store performance, analyze numbers, report data, and coach the team daily.
• Run store operations: staffing, cash handling, compliance, and open/close processes.
• Complete opening and closing activities; maintain store readiness.
• Aim for daily/weekly/monthly target attainment.
• Model Victra greeting and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Resolve customer issues and assist with transactions to delight customers.
• Maintain inventory and store cleanliness to ensure a great in-store experience.
• Build strong relationships with team and other store leaders.
• Lead change: implement merchandising standards and planograms.
• Set and share goals; translate weekly/monthly goals into daily plans.
