Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention professional in Lynn, MA to coach teams on shrink awareness and customer service, while protecting assets and ensuring a safe store environment. You will monitor security systems, analyze theft trends, and assist in investigations in coordination with leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant LP or security experience; state licensing may be required. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• If state requires a salesperson license, obtain within 60 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Coach associates and leaders on shrink awareness, theft deterrence, and customer service programs.
• Identify theft trends with Store and AP Leadership and develop action plans.
• Deliver SMART customer service and provide resources to achieve it.
• Maintain a safe, clean, secure store environment and monitor entrances/exits.
• Monitor activity through surveillance tools to detect theft, fraud and policy violations.
• Conduct external theft apprehensions and interviews per laws and policy.
• Investigate and resolve criminal activity; maintain case files; support law enforcement.
• Assist in internal investigations and provide evidence when needed.
• Validate store security measures and respond to alarms/EAS triggers.
• Provide feedback on audit findings and support shrink/risk reduction.
• Respond to potentially violent situations with safety and composure.
• Role may include additional duties as needed.
