Job summary

The TJ Maxx in Carbondale, IL is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to support store management with administrative tasks and to deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You will help schedule, process cash duties, maintain files, and assist in onboarding new Associates.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

• Able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Maintains Associate personnel files
• Performs daily cash office functions and maintains cash office standards
• Supports Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory and requisition
• Maintains proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Takes an active role in the hiring process and onboarding of new Associates
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management when setting priorities and providing progress updates
