Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at TJ Maxx in Tinley Park, IL to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing and a superior customer experience.

You will work with a team to maintain an organized store, train staff, and uphold safety and policy goals. You should have retail experience, strong communication and multitasking abilities, and the capacity to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Able to train others and lead by example.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing.
• Maintain a positive customer experience and a clean, organized store.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, coded, and replenished on the sales floor.
• Communicate with management to prioritize tasks and optimize store operations.
• Support safety, labor, and loyalty programs while meeting store goals.
