Job summary

Greenberg Traurig (GT) seeks a Legal Support Specialist for our Minneapolis office to provide high-level practice and operational support to the Managing Shareholder and restructuring team. You will act as a trusted contact for clients, coordinate priorities, and help matters move forward efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent organization, discretion, and communication, with flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ administrative support experience in a professional services, corporate, or legal environment.
• Prior law firm experience supporting a practice group or senior attorney preferred, but not required.
• Experience with court e-filing; bankruptcy court filing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level administrative and practice support to the Managing Shareholder and a team of attorneys.
• Coordinates client engagement, intake, and conflicts processes in accordance with firm procedures.
• Assists with court filings, including restructuring-related matters, and other practice support needs.
• Communicates with clients regarding billing, collections, and business development support.
• Serves as the primary contact for the Restructuring Practice Group, coordinating daily operations and communication among attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Manages calendars, schedules meetings and appointments, and coordinates email and telephone communications.
• Arranges domestic and international travel, including itineraries, logistics, and related documentation.
• Maintains client files, contact lists, matter information, and related records.
• Prepares, edits, proofreads, and finalizes correspondence, documents, presentations, and other written materials.
• Reviews, prioritizes, routes, and responds to correspondence and incoming communications, exercising judgment and discretionCoordinates matters with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal teams to support timely and responsive client service.
• Coordinates with Paralegals and other legal support team members where applicable.
