Greenberg Traurig, LLP in New York City, Westchester or Nassau County is seeking a Legal Support Specialist to assist attorneys in the Global Restructuring and Special Situations practice. You will act as the liaison between attorneys and clients and provide a wide range of administrative and document processing services.

The role requires exceptional organization, multi-tasking, strong communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal secretary/assistant in a business law practice with focus on bankruptcy.
• Proficiency with invoicing and fee applications.

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains busy calendar and schedule appointments.
• Prepares and organizes complex travel arrangements.
• Maintains client files and updates contact lists.
• Conserves attorneys’ time by routing and researching correspondence.
• Monitors and responds to communications; handles billing and collections.
• Drafts engagement letters and processes conflict checks for new matters.
• Assists with business development initiatives and filings.
