Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg seeks a ReStore Manager to lead daily ReStore operations, manage staff and volunteers, and drive revenue through effective donor processing and merchandising.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety, and alignment with the mission. 3–5 years of retail management experience is required, with nonprofit retail experience preferred. The position is full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit retail, thrift or donation-based operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ReStore operations including opening/closing, sales floor management, donation intake, pricing and merchandising.
• Monitor store performance metrics (sales, average ticket, inventory turnover).
• Lead staff and volunteers, provide coaching and performance management.
• Ensure safe, welcoming environment for customers, donors, volunteers and partners.
• Track daily sales and store performance; assist budgeting and forecasting.
