Job summary

Burlingtonconvalescent in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to support residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The RNA works with the Therapy Department to implement restorative programs and assist with mobility activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with CNA training, an RNA certificate, current First Aid/CPR, and vaccination against COVID-19.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with CNA program completed.
• One year CNA experience in SNF and RNA certificate.
• COVID-19 vaccination including boosters; First Aid and CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ROM and ambulation per physician orders to improve mobility.
• Document activities of daily living per facility policy.
• Monitor placement of restorative devices for proper use.
• Assist with turning and positioning heavy care residents.
• Provide daily and weekly documentation including progress summaries.
• Coach CNAs in positioning, ROM, ADL, safety device use, and related tasks.
