Job summary

Pasadena Care Center, LLC is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to provide routine restorative nursing care and support to residents as outlined in their care plans. The role involves assisting with mobility, daily activities, documentation, and collaboration with the Rehabilitation and Nursing Departments to ensure quality resident care.

The RNA will help residents with exercises, mobility, and personal care, maintain cleanliness, and participate in care team meetings.

Qualifications

• Current CNA and RNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policies.
• Proficiency with Point Click Care or similar healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve mobility.
• Encourage participation in activities and out-of-bed mobility.
• Assist with dining, transfers, ambulation, and ROM activities as directed.
• Document care provided accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, respectful environment and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Support residents with personal hygiene and skin care.
• Assist with preparations for tests, treatments, and daily meals.
