Job summary

Burlingtonconvalescent in Inglewood, CA is hiring a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to support resident mobility and daily living activities. Under supervision of the Charge Nurse, the RNA conducts restorative nursing and collaborates with the Therapy Department to implement care plans.

Requirements include a CNA program completion, one year CNA SNF experience, an RNA certificate, COVID vaccination with booster, and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and CNA program completion.
• One year CNA experience in SNF and current RNA certificate.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster.
• Current First Aid and CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ROM exercises and mobility per physician orders.
• Document ADLs and progress notes in resident records.
• Monitor use and placement of restorative devices/equipment.
• Assist with turning, positioning and transfers of heavy care residents.
• Document weekly progress summaries for residents in the restorative program.
