Cerritos Vista Healthcare Center is seeking an RNA to join our Therapy Department. Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, the RNA performs restorative nursing to help residents reach maximum potential mobility and independence.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with completion of a CNA program, one year of CNA experience in a SNF, a current RNA certificate, and First Aid/CPR. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with completion of a CNA program.
• One year of CNA experience in a SNF facility.
• RNA certificate is current and active.
• First Aid and CPR certification are current.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and mobility programs.
• Document activities of daily living per facility policy.
• Monitor restoration devices and proper usage.
• Assist with turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Provide daily/weekly documentation and progress summaries for residents in the restorative program.
• Coach CNAs in ROM, ADL, safety device use, and documentation for quality audits.
• Assist with restorative feeding and include assistance with meals as needed.
