Job summary

PACS Group in Tennessee is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to provide routine restorative care based on the resident care plan. You will assist with mobility, daily living activities, and documentation, while supporting a warm, respectful environment.

This role requires CNA and RNA certifications and active participation in the rehabilitation process. The position emphasizes accuracy in recording weights, assisting with meals, and collaboration with the nursing and rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Restorative Nursing Assistant certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA and RNA training certificates.
• Continuing education as per state practices.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve mobility, strength and independence.
• Encourage activity and out-of-bed mobility.
• Assist with dining, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion activities.
• Record resident weights and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide clothing and linen care and maintain hygiene.
• Assist with ADLs including toileting, bathing, dressing.
• Reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
• Document and chart care provided accurately.
• Participate in RNA meetings with Rehabilitation and Nursing Departments.
• Prepare residents for tests, appointments, and daily meals.
• Assist with elimination needs and sanitation of bedpans.
