Job summary

PACS is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to provide routine restorative care per the resident’s plan. You will assist with mobility, daily living activities, and skin care while documenting care accurately and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

The role requires CNA/RNA certification, high school diploma, and familiarity with Point Click Care. Prior LTC experience is preferred and medical support is provided by the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Restorative Nursing Assistant certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs for Point Click Care.
• One-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve or maintain mobility, strength, and independence.
• Support residents with daily living activities including dining, dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Reposition residents regularly to prevent skin breakdown and promote comfort.
• Record weights and communicate changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Complete documentation and charting of all care provided.
• Prepare residents for tests and appointments and assist with transfers and mobility.
