Job summary

PACS is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to provide routine restorative care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will assist with mobility, daily living activities, and documentation under supervision and with the rehabilitation and nursing departments.

• Restorative Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve or maintain mobility and independence.
• Record weights as ordered and report significant changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including dining, toileting, bathing, dressing.
• Reposition residents regularly to promote comfort and skin integrity.
• Maintain clean clothing and linens and support personal hygiene.
• Complete documentation accurately and participate in RNA meetings to monitor programs.
• Report changes in condition to Charge Nurse or RN Supervisor.
• Assist with preparing residents for medical tests, treatments, and daily meals.
• Promote safety with safe patient handling practices.
