Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to deliver routine restorative nursing care per the resident’s plan. The role focuses on maintaining mobility, assisting with daily activities, and reporting changes to nursing staff.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA/RNA certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in long-term care. Proficiency with Point Click Care and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CNA and RNA training/certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with data entry in care software (Point Click Care).
• One year of long-term care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve mobility and independence.
• Encourage activity and out-of-bed mobility when appropriate.
• Assist with dining, transfers, ambulation, ROM and daily living activities.
• Record resident weights and report significant changes promptly.
• Maintain clean clothing and linens and assist with hygiene needs.
• Reposition residents regularly to prevent skin breakdown.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain a warm, respectful environment.
