Job summary

PACS seeks a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to provide restorative nursing care per each resident's plan under supervision. You will assist with mobility, transfers, dining, and daily activities, documenting care accurately.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA/RNA certification with a high school diploma and at least one year in a long-term care setting; CPR may be required. Strong teamwork and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Restorative Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Long-Term Care facility preferred.
• CPR certification may be required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve mobility and independence.
• Encourage participation in activity and out-of-bed mobility.
• Assist with dining, transfers, ambulation, and ROM activities as directed.
• Record resident weights and report changes promptly.
• Ensure residents have clean, well-fitting clothing and linens.
• Assist with ADLs.
• Reposition residents regularly to prevent skin breakdown.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Report significant changes to nursing staff and supervisors.

Education

Restorative Nursing Assistant certification

High school diploma or equivalent

One-year experience in a long-term care facility
