Good Samaritan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for day shift in a long-term care facility in Canistota, SD. The role involves direct resident care, mobility support, and participation in restorative programs under an RN supervisor.

Qualified candidates will have CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to infection prevention and patient safety. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible full-time staff.

Qualificações

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.
• CNA training program completion; 40+ hours restorative care training.
• Yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident care and assist with activities during the scheduled work period.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, ROM, and daily living activities.
• Document resident progress in the EMR and report changes promptly.
• Follow infection prevention, PPE policies and standard precautions.
• Operate under RN supervision in a long-term care setting.
