Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shift in Canistota, SD. The role focuses on restorative, resident-centered care in long-term care, under RN supervision, with EMR documentation and adherence to safety and infection control.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a base hourly rate between $18.50 and $25.50, plus a $2.50 location premium, with full-time hours 32 per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16 with nursing experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by State Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Perform mobility, range of motion, positioning, dressing, grooming and feeding tasks.
• Document resident care progress in EMR and report changes promptly.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE policies and safety guidelines.
