Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Restorative Aide to deliver restorative nursing care per each resident's assessment and care plan. The role requires accurate documentation, adherence to facility policies, and teamwork with therapists to meet care goals.

Ensure timely reporting of changes in residents’ conditions and support daily restorative activities and dining for residents, including safe transfer and mobility assistance. A CNA certification in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative nursing care and services according to the resident’s assessment and care plan.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record notes and data accurately and timely; use approved abbreviations.
• Assist residents with daily restorative activities and dining as directed by the plan.
