Job summary

Raintree Village in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a compassionate senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care.

We are hiring a Restorative Aide - CNA to provide direct care to residents under restorative nursing policies, supporting mobility and daily tasks.

Shifts include 4, 8, and 12 hours; full-time and part-time options, with some weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Direct care to nursing home residents in line with restorative nursing policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents doing progressive range of motion exercises and progressive mobility, to include bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing, and walking.
• Assist residents in progressive eating, during breakfast and lunch.
• Assists residents in progressive bathing and dressing.
• Assists and teaches residents in progressive grooming.
• Takes and records vital signs of residents according to facility schedule and policies, and during restorative activities.
• Documents and/or reports information regarding the residents’ progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor.
• Works closely with the physical therapy department.
• Documents all restorative tasks in the electronic medical record
• Assures personal and staff compliance to all state and federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
• Assures personal and staff compliance to residents’ rights.
• Provides care in accordance with the restorative aide assignment sheet.
