Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in TN.
• Desire to work with seniors and make a positive difference.
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Dependability and strong attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and physical activities.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and individualized care plans.
• Support residents with walking, range-of-motion exercises, positioning, transfers, and other restorative activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence and quality of life.
• Provide compassionate assistance while respecting each resident’s dignity and personal preferences.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ abilities, condition, or level of participation.
• Document restorative activities accurately and timely.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, activities, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
