Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in existing building restoration, rehabilitation, or facade projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, specs, and building systems.
• Experience performing site investigations and preparing technical reports.
• Ability to independently manage projects and client relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with NYC building regulations and restoration projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage restoration and structural repair projects from investigation through construction completion
• Perform site inspections, condition assessments, testing, and field documentation
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and repair recommendations
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Review contractor submittals, change orders, and payment applications
• Attend project meetings and serve as a primary client contact
• Provide construction administration and observe work in progress
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical development within the team
