Job summary

LVI Associates in New York City is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in existing buildings, restoration, rehabilitation, or façade projects. You will lead projects from investigation through construction, shaping technical paths and client relations.

This role requires performing site investigations, preparing reports and drawings, coordinating schedules and budgets, reviewing submittals and change orders, and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in existing building restoration, rehabilitation, or facade projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, specs, and building systems.
• Experience performing site investigations and preparing technical reports.
