LVI Associates in New York City is seeking a Senior Building Envelope Consultant to lead envelope investigations, assessments, and repair design across commercial and historic structures. Qualifications

• 7+ years of building envelope or related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license.
• Strong knowledge of building enclosure systems and field investigations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead building envelope investigations and condition assessments.
• Diagnose water intrusion and building performance issues.
• Design repairs for façades, roofing, waterproofing, windows, curtain walls, and enclosures.
• Perform site inspections, field testing, and documentation of existing conditions.
• Provide technical consultation during design and construction phases.
• Manage client relationships and multiple projects concurrently.
• Support expert witness and litigation-related assignments when required.
• Mentor junior engineers and consultants.
