Job summary

Northeast Power Dry in the restoration sector seeks an experienced Operations Field Manager to lead mitigation operations. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to customers during challenging times.

You will supervise and coach technicians, manage projects from start to finish, and ensure safety, quality, and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or related industry.
• Mitigation/restoration experience preferred.
• Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion.
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed.
• Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed.
• Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available.
• Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Ensure OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed.
• Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance.
