Northeast Power Dry is seeking an Operations Field Manager to lead mitigation crews handling water/mold related restorations in New Jersey. The role combines hands-on field leadership with strategic operations oversight, project coordination, cost control, and safety compliance.

The candidate brings a track record of managing teams, improving workflows, and delivering high-quality customer service under challenging conditions. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry.
• Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion.
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed.
• Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed.
• Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available.
• Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed.
• Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance.
