Job summary

Northeast Power Dry is seeking an experienced Operations Field Manager - Restoration to lead mitigation operations across New Jersey. This role focuses on building high-performing teams, delivering exceptional service during challenging times, and ensuring safe, compliant field operations.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on construction experience, strong leadership, and a background in financial and resource management to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry.
• Hands-on construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish ensuring quality and on-time completion.
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership.
• Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed.
• Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is maintained and available.
• Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Ensure OSHA regulations and safety standards are followed.
