Northeast Power Dry in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Operations Field Manager to lead our mitigation operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional service to homeowners and commercial clients during challenging times.

The ideal candidate has construction experience, strong project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry.
• Previous mitigation and restoration industry experience preferred.
• Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the mitigation team to deliver top service.
• Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and on-time completion.
• Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on leadership.
• Direct field crews and enforce proper construction and mitigation methods.
• Develop and improve workflows to maximize efficiency.

Position Overview

The Operations Field Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in both the technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed
