Job summary

CAVA seeks a Team Leader to drive daily operations, foster a positive guest experience, and lead a dynamic team in our restaurant. You will partner with managers to uphold standards, train team members, and ensure smooth service from opening to close.

Role emphasizes coaching, operational delegation, inventory, and cash handling while maintaining food safety and quality across shifts. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food.
• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as our business continues to grow.
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute key duties including but not limited to opening and closing the restaurant, placing food orders, conducting inventory, and cash handling as needed.
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards.
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise.
• Support deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened levels of service interactions with guests, as well as prompt presentation of food orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and promote a positive work environment for guests and team members.
• Collaborate with Assistant General Managers and General Managers to ensure standards are executed.
• Delegate routines and tasks to team members to drive performance and service quality.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, inventory control, order placement, and cash handling as needed.
• Train and develop team members to support growth and consistency in service.
