Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data/IT-focused professional to manage POS/MES databases, recipe costing, and menu content across in-store and online channels, aligning culinary and marketing needs.

You will collaborate with IT to implement software improvements, support weekend operations, and report to the Senior Manager, Operations Systems, contributing to financial reporting and margin optimization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in finance, analysis, inventory management, or IT systems analysis/programming.
• Enterprise-level POS management experience.
• SQL and Oracle DB experience preferred.
• Restaurant operations experience a plus.
• Analytical with a strong focus on problem solving.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with excellent follow-through skills.
• Strong customer service attitude.
• Ability to work weekends if necessary.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Finance, IT, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain POS, MES, and Menu Systems databases, including recipe creation, units of measure, and menu content maintenance.
• Program and maintain the DASH Point of Sale system.
• Plan, manage, and execute system setup for marketing and beverage initiatives, promotions, tests, and menu changes.
• Program menu items, supporting screens, controls, screen placement, and functionality.
• Align with restaurant operations to ensure POS setup is operationally friendly.
• Implement and audit price changes.
• Create and maintain electronic recipes for menu items.
• Build recipes used for weekly financial margin reporting and monthly waste reporting.
• Support the culinary team with recipe costing for new menu items.
• Set up new ingredients with accurate yields and units of measure.
• Maintain menu content for online ordering platforms and third‑party delivery partners.
• Update online menu offerings, prices, copy, photographs, nutrition, and calorie information.
• Improve visual presentation and simplification of online menus.
• Track current and upcoming menu initiatives.
• Initiate software solutions with IT to improve processes.
• Work with the IT Help Desk to resolve restaurant support tickets and requests.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Operations Systems and support the Operations Services Team.
