Job summary

GoTo Foods is seeking a Manager of Store Technology to lead the team responsible for menu data across POS, OLO, Backoffice, digital, catering, and other systems for all locations.

The role requires translating business needs into technical requirements, designing configurable solutions, and ensuring accuracy, pricing integrity, and promotions across channels. You will collaborate with Brand Technology and external vendors while guiding a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in POS administration, restaurant technology, menu management, or related operational systems.
• 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of POS Administrators responsible for configuring and maintaining all menu and pricing data across systems.
• Plan staffing levels and operating capacity with Sr. Director of Build and Run; recruit, train, and manage performance.
• Coordinate scheduled configuration updates for online ordering, kiosks, loyalty programs, and third-party platforms.
• Oversee creation, updating, and maintenance of menu items, pricing, modifiers, and promotions across POS and Digital systems.
• Ensure changes are documented, approved, and delivered on time with quality.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans to Brand Technology partners and leadership.

Job Summary

The Manager of Store technology is responsible for leading the team that maintains, governs, and deploys menu data across Point of Sale (POS), OLO, Backoffice, digital, catering and other integrated systems for all restaurant locations. This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements, and designing configurable solutions within the tech stack. The manager will review and assign work to the correct resources. The manager will ensure menu accuracy, pricing integrity, promotional execution, and operational consistency across in-store, digital, and third-party ordering platforms. The Manager will serve as a primary liaison between Brand Technology partners, and external vendors to support menu changes and business initiatives while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards. Manager will work with Sr Director of Build and Run to ensure that the team is properly resourced and constructed to meet the needs of the business.

Essential Functions

Leadership

• Manage and lead a team of POS Administrators that are responsible for the configuration and maintenance of all menu and pricing data for all applicable systems.
• Work with the Sr. Director of Build and Run to plan staffing levels and operating capacity that align with business needs. Including recruiting, training, performance management, and workload management.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
• Builds a team of self-starters that deliver high quality results.
• Leads team to exceed service levels and performance metrics.

Technical Delivery

• Manage and coordinate scheduled configuration updates for online ordering, kiosks, loyalty programs, and third-party delivery platforms.
• Oversee the creation, updating, and maintenance of menu items, item exceptions, modifiers, pricing, and promotions across the POS and Digital system.
• Serve as a point of contact for POS and digital menu vendors, escalating and resolving technical and system issues.
• Coordinate scheduled menu deployments and emergency updates.
• Owns and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of all menu tasks for POS and Digital systems.
• Manage end-to-end menu update processes and deployment schedules.
• Ensure all changes are properly documented, communicated, approved, and delivered on time with quality.
• Communicates delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans to Brand Technology partners and leadership, escalating when necessary to meet commitments.

Quality & Improvement

• Ensure all configurations meet technical requirements of the business.
• Work with Brand Technology partners to ensure all initiatives are met on time with accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve the menu administration process.
• Improves delivery through metrics, dashboards, and reporting tied to business and technical outcomes.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, Required.

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in POS administration, restaurant technology, menu management, or related operational systems.
• 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant environments.
