Job summary

Limelight Hotels is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager for its Ketchum, Idaho location. You will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, lead and train staff, manage guest seating, orders, and service execution, while upholding high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• 4 years' experience in food service environment required.
• 2 years' experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant staff to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient operations.
• Train, motivate, and provide feedback to staff to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee daily restaurant activities including seating, ordering, and delivery.
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and presentation meet company standards.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of employee needs, schedules, and attendance (PAFs, time off).
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure timely food preparation.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with evaluations.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and payments.
• Lead pre-meal meetings and tastings with Chef and Restaurant Manager.
