Job summary

Valor Hospitality seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee shift operations, coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality service and ensure safety and compliance. This role includes hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching restaurant associates to meet financial and guest satisfaction goals.

The position requires 2+ years in food and beverage, basic restaurant operations knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to delegate, manage manpower and establish priorities.
• Listen effectively and communicate professionally with guests and associates.
• Operate department within Foundation Document guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift operations in the restaurant and liaise with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and safety regulations.
• Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop and coach restaurant associates; conduct performance reviews as appropriate.
• Create and implement promotions, buffet presentations and ideas to capture more in-house guests.
• Maintain sanitation standards and supervise equipment maintenance to protect assets and ensure quality service.
• Investigate and resolve guest needs and inquiries to enhance future sales prospects.
• Update cash management and generate reports to aid restaurant administration.
• May serve as manager on duty and perform other duties as assigned.
