Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise serving staff for efficient, professional service.
• Train new employees on policies, procedures, and customer service.
• Manage daily operations including inventory, cash handling, and POS.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high cleanliness.
• Host when needed: greet, seat guests, manage OpenTable reservations.
• Assist on the floor: run food, clear tables, and serve water/wine.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues for guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on staffing and scheduling.
• Oversee shift management during peak hours.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and reinforce training.

Duties

• Perform as host when needed: welcoming guests, seating, and managing reservations in OpenTable.
• Assist on the floor when necessary by running food, clearing tables, and serving water or wine.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on staffing needs and scheduling.
• Oversee shift management to guarantee smooth operations during peak hours.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and reinforce training initiatives.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader, Head Server, or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong background in fine dining or high‑volume casual dining environments.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality management skills.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
