Job summary

Moe’s Southwest Grill in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Team Leader to support daily restaurant operations, supervise shifts in the General Manager’s absence, and uphold high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.

You will address team issues, coordinate with suppliers and guests, assist in training staff, manage cash handling, and help open and close the restaurant as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise and support shift operations.
• Strong customer service and guest interaction skills.
• Experience training new hires and coaching staff.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and register operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts.
• Create a positive experience for team members and guests.
• Manage FOH and BOH duties to help control labor and costs.
• Monitor service pace to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address guest comments and resolve issues, escalating when needed.
• Oversee daily shifts to uphold company standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Assist in ongoing staff training and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure uniforms and policies are followed.
• Open and close the restaurant in absence of upper management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
